Weather Dependency
All helicopter flights in the Everest region are strictly weather dependent. Sudden changes in wind, fog, or visibility can delay or even cancel flights. Our operations team constantly monitors weather forecasts and local conditions to schedule flights at the safest windows. In case of poor weather, flights may be rescheduled to the same day or early the next morning at no extra cost.
Flight Duration
The helicopter flight from Pheriche to Lukla takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes. This offers a quick, breathtaking alternative to trekking for days through rugged trails, especially if you’re short on time or experiencing altitude related fatigue.
Helipad Location
The helipad in Pheriche is centrally located and easily accessible from most tea houses and lodges. If you are unsure how to reach it, our team can assist with directions or even arrange an Pickup from your accommodation.
Luggage Allowance
Due to weight limitations at high altitude, each passenger is allowed approximately 20 kg of combined body and baggage weight. If total passenger weight permits, we may accommodate a bit more luggage or arrange for separate cargo flights as needed. Please travel light for safety and flight efficiency.
Health and Safety
Pheriche is at an altitude of 4,371 meters, where altitude sickness is a genuine concern. Many trekkers use this flight for evacuation or as a safe return after experiencing high-altitude fatigue. Please inform us of any medical conditions or altitude symptoms in advance so we can make necessary preparations.

Note: Depending on wind and weather conditions, we may reduce capacity to 4 passengers per flight for enhanced safety and stability.
Booking Terms
To secure your Pheriche to Lukla helicopter flight, we require a confirmed booking with payment in advance. You may choose between:
- Full payment at the time of booking
- 50% advance with the balance payable before flight (based on prior discussion)
- All bookings can be completed easily via WhatsApp, phone, or email. Once we receive your payment, we will confirm your flight and share detailed flight instructions.
Cancellation Policy
We understand trekking in the Himalayas involves flexibility. Our cancellation policy is designed to support that:
- Free cancellation: Available if cancelled at least 2 days in advance
- Last minute cancellations (Before than 24 hours): Non refundable due to limited seat inventory and pre arranged operations
Weather related rescheduling
If the flight is cancelled due to poor weather or technical issues, we will reschedule your flight at no extra cost, or offer alternative solutions/refunds depending on the situation. We recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes helicopter evacuation, medical emergencies, and cancellation coverage.
