7:00 AM – Check-in at Kathmandu Airport (1,340 meters)
Your adventure begins early at the Kathmandu domestic terminal. After a quick check-in process, our team will collect your passport details and check your body weight (a standard procedure for helicopter flights).
Once you pass through security and receive your boarding pass, you’ll wait briefly in the lounge until it’s time to board. At the helipad, your pilot will give you a short safety briefing.
7:00 AM – 7:45 AM: Flight to Lukla (2,860 meters)
Your scenic flight begins with stunning views of Himalayan peaks like Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Gaurishankar, and even glimpses of Everest as you fly east. Below, you’ll see rivers, green hills, forested valleys, and traditional mountain villages. After about 45 minutes in the air, you’ll land at Lukla Airport, the gateway to Everest.
7:45 AM – 8:00 AM: Short Stop at Lukla for Refueling
At Lukla, the helicopter will pause for 10–15 minutes to refuel. You can use the restroom, stretch your legs, and watch the hustle of small aircraft taking off and landing on one of the most thrilling airstrips in the world!
8:00 AM – 8:35 AM: Flight to Everest Region via Pheriche (4,200 meters)
As the helicopter takes off again, you’ll follow the winding Dudh Koshi River and pass above Sherpa villages like Namche Bazaar and Tengboche Monastery. You’ll enjoy sweeping views of Mt. Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and finally, Mt. Everest itself!
If you’re in a group of more than 3 people or exceed the 250 kg weight limit, the pilot will make a quick stop at Pheriche to split the group and shuttle you separately to Everest Base Camp for safety reasons. This is a great time to take photos and soak in the alpine surroundings.
8:35 AM – 9:00 AM: Fly Over Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar
Get ready for the highlight of your trip! The helicopter will now fly over Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar, offering unmatched views of the Khumbu Glacier, icefalls, and expedition camps during climbing season.
Since landing at EBC is unsafe due to the moving glacier and terrain, the helicopter will hover low, giving you an unforgettable aerial view of Everest and surrounding giants like Nuptse and Pumori. Don’t forget to snap photos—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
9:00 AM – 9:40 AM: Fly to Gokyo Lakes (4,700–5,000 meters)
Next, the helicopter heads west towards the shimmering Gokyo Lakes, Nepal’s highest freshwater lake system. The crystal-clear blue and green waters are breathtaking from the air—and even more magical when you step out for photos.
You’ll land near the lakes and have about 10–15 minutes to take it all in. Ask your pilot to grab a few photos of you with this surreal landscape behind you!
9:40 AM – 10:40 AM: Breakfast at Everest View Hotel (3,962 meters)
From Gokyo, you’ll fly to Syangboche Hill, where the world-famous Hotel Everest View awaits. Located at nearly 4,000 meters, it offers luxury hospitality with a panoramic view of Mt. Everest and the surrounding peaks.
Enjoy a warm breakfast and a hot drink while gazing at the Himalayas—it’s easily one of the most memorable meals you’ll ever have. The Sherpa hospitality here is as heartwarming as the food.
10:40 AM – 12:00 PM: Return Flight to Kathmandu via Lukla
After breakfast, you’ll fly back to Lukla for a short refuel stop and then continue on to Kathmandu. The views remain incredible on the return journey, so keep your camera ready.
12:20 PM – Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon landing in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you at the airport and drop you off at your hotel. You’ll return with memories, videos, and photos that will stay with you for a lifetime.
